Brett's BBQ in my first stop when I have a barbecue craving. They have a great menu and I'm still trying new dishes. I really like the Pit Master salad with either beef brisket or pulled pork and the dressing is great. Sandwiches are great, they even have smoked turkey. They have all the traditional sides like beans, slaw, mac and cheese, and hush puppies. They do serve beer which always goes well with bbq.
Yes, you should go here. They have patio seating and allow dogs. They accommodate gluten free, including those (like me) with allergy or severe aversion. Just ask inside and they'll explain what's what. I got the half rack of ribs with coleslaw and BBQ baked beans. Delicious. Boyfriend said the cornbread muffin was the best he ever tasted I'm really glad we stopped in; we will be back.
I've never been to this place myself, but I ordered delivery from them several times. Their chicken and baby ribs are delicious, smokey enough, but not over smoked. Salads on the side (coleslaw and potato) are very good, too. Size of the portions is large enough to feed 3-4 people.
I was assured by a friend that Brett's BBQ surpasses another local BBQ chain in San Diego; Phil's BBQ. Although I am by no means a BBQ connoisseur, Brett's won me over by serving not just an incredible pulled pork sandwich, but side dishes on par and better than those tried at Phil's.. Macaroni & cheese and sweet potato fries are definite winners. You've been warned.
Delicious. You have great options to select from. Last time we went I got the baked potato with chicken and it was delicious. They have large platters if you're very hungry and average size meals if you are not. The staff is very friendly. Good parking also
Coming from the guy that grew up in Kansas City, Brett's BBQ is the real deal. Great portions, great sauce, evenly cooked, an excellent Service as well. I highly recommend that you give Brett's BBQ a try.

Love Brett's...it is probably one of my favorite b-b-que places of all time. Got the royal tour in the back of the double Texas Smokers and man do I love this place. Most of the time to brisket is pretty spot on. Occasionally it has been dry or off but usually decent. The chicken and pulled pork are amazing and the bbque potato should not be missed. I only had the hush puppies once so were not my favorite and I have not tried their catfish or anything like that. Usually I stick with the pork southern style with slaw on top...MMMMMM!!!!
